La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ moisturizer

Hello!

After a week, I'm back here in the civilized internet world. :) And I have to say I missed it, especially writing the blog posts. But at least I enjoyed some nature while being down there so I guess everything as always has it pros and cons.

Enough of my ramblings, today's post will be dedicated to the famous moisturizer by La Roche Posay which I have been using for the last couple of months. This review is designed to help you get some info on this moisturizer, but as always, keep in mind these are my private, personal impressions, each of us has a different skintype and of course you can't expect us to like the same skincare products.

With that said, I'm going to tell you what I liked and what I disliked about the Effaclar Duo+ and why would I buy it again (or wouldn't).

If you read my Vichy Aqualia Thermal post you are aware of my skintype but in case you haven't, let's start with that!

Things I would repurchase: makeup

Hello everyone!

So we postponed our trip for Monday since the weather is horrible here. I hope it will get better the next week. This means I get to celebrate Easter at home which isn't so bad after all :)

The title of the post says it all. I'm gonna show you some things that I would repurchase over and over again and which were my favorites for this year and for 2013.

I tried to make this list as smaller as possible because I wanted to focus only on those things that are my absolute favorites and that I reach for constantly.

Here we go!

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash

  • this is in my honest opinion best brow product that I have ever tried and probably will ever try
  • makes brows look natural without those yellowish or brownish streaks that give away you painted your brows
  • lasts all day, literally
  • the shade is perfect and you can create tiny streaks with the pointed top pen
  • my review!

UPDATED - Shopping haul: H&M, Asos, Orsay, Mango

Hello everyone!

Since I have been shopping lately, not excessively but I managed to collect a nice amount of stuff during these last few weeks/month. I decided it would be best not to merge makeup and clothing posts since that would be too much for you to read so I will do them separately.

The first thing I bought were these things from ASOS. They had a discount (it's still active I think) on most of the dresses and shoes so after a lot of browsing I decided to get these two dresses and these sandals.

The aztec print dress is perfect for everyday summer looks and since it's quite short it can be worn as a tunic over a pair of tights. I usually wear it like that. I love the aztec print, it looks great in summer season! You can also put a jacket over top and you get yourself a nice combination for spring, comfy and cute. Price: 26$ (140kn)

Goodbye Furby

Yesterday was probably one of the saddest days for my family. Our 13 year old dog died after a year of fighting illnesses. It was hard for all of us, especially for my mom who took care of him the most. He was a small dog, a mixed breed between a shi tzu and a pekingese. I remember the first time when he came at our door, two girls brought him to us, he was so small that we first thought he was a cat...

But he soon grew up and became the happiest and cutest friend we ever could have wanted. His name was Furby. He was named after a popular children's toy because he resembled it so much and he was so small and running that people often joked he had batteries in him. That's why he was called Furby.

Since we have a house at the seaside where we spend our summers and vacations, he was always going with us, even when we went fishing on a boat. He would sit on a boat's bench and ride with us, and he always stole fish that we caught. The weird thing is, he would return them to the sea and let them go.

Wet n Wild: Mega Impact Mascara

Hello everyone!!

Today I decided to review the product that was sent to me by Wet n Wild Croatia (you should check out their products - they are great for very low prices). This will be a collaboration post - my friend Ivana from Makeup and OTHER blog will do her part of the post on her blog, and I will do my part here. She writes an amazing croatian blog and you should check out her reviews as well and support her with your visits.

You can see her review HERE!

I have to say again that this is a PR product but I will try to be as objective as possible, as always, with you, my readers. I know that there are many here who read this blog but never comment and that's ok, I used to do the same thing before I had my own blog. So I hope you enjoy this review and maybe it will inspire you to try this product, or at least give you some insight into it.

Before we start, I have to share with you my regular mascara which will get her review as soon as possible - it's the Bourjois Volume Glamour Ultra Care mascara. Out of all the others, this one proved to be the best for my lashes which are quite long and thick, so I basically just need something to blacken them and separate them a bit.

The mascara from Wet n Wild is a bit different than the one that I have been using and we will go through it now, so sit back and relax!
