Mary - Loumanizer by theBalm

Hello and welcome to my new website design!

As you know I recently switched from wordpress to blogger because of many reasons but one of the main ones were the possibility of changing themes on blogger and the ability to install whatever I want by placing it into the HTML code which cannot be handled on wordpress.com websites. For all the other bloggers - I will make a post explaining how you can do this and save your posts at the same time :)

Let's get to business shall we? Today I will review the famous product which all of you know - it is one of the most famous highlighters of all time; theBalm's Mary-Loumanizer!

I have to admit, I first saw this at essiebutton's and was instantly attracted to the luminous and fresh look you can create with this highlighter without looking all sparkled up like a Christmas tree.

Lancôme Teint Miracle - 010 beige porcelain

Hello everyone!

After postponing it for a long time I finally decided to review this foundation which I have been using for the last month. I have always wanted to try Lancôme's foundations and after negotiating with myself for some time I decided that the Teint Miracle would be my ideal match!

I was lucky enough to buy it on a discount at Feelunique's Christmas sale so it cost me only 22 pounds (its normal price is 37). I was a bit afraid to buy this foundation without trying out the shades first, but unfortunately I haven't found the place in Croatia where they would have samples of these lighter shades. So this purchase was a huge gamble but luckily and thanks to all the other bloggers who reviewed it in the past, I managed to find my perfect shade.

Fairytale tag!

Once upon a time...well actually not so long ago, a fellow blogger tagged me in this magical tag. Her blog is called Mala Trubica (it's a Croatian blog). And I was instantly happy because I am literally obsessed with fairytales, with children's stories, princesess and all things related to it. They just remind me of my childhood, of my grandmother, of that carefree time when all I could do is play and imagine my future life. They provided a sanctuary for whenever I felt angry or sad, or just wanted to escape the dull reality.

Although I am 23 years old now, I still like those stories, despite all the feminist criticism and the deconstruction of the conservative ideals of beauty and morale which were cherished in stories such as the Sleeping Beauty.

Wet n Wild Idol Eyes Creme Shadow pencil

Hello everyone!

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, the Wet n Wild Croatia sent me a pretty nice package including their eyeshadow palette, two lipsticks and this beauty that I will talk about here. I already reviewed some of their products in my previous posts - lipsticks and a nail polish.

This time I will review their thick eyeliner pencil/cream eyeshadow - Idol Eyes Creme Shadow pencil.

Although I was a bit skeptical at first, the doubts lifted instantly as soon as I tried this on my eyes and I have to say the results were really nice and this has been my go-to item for the last two weeks.

Valentine's Day look: Romantic rose

Hello guys!

I decided to do a Valentine's Day look inspired by my recent obsession with the new Maleficent trailer (and the song Once Upon A Dream performed brilliantly by Lana Del Rey), so I hope you like it and that it inspires you for this Friday :)

If you're alone, don't worry, you can still wear makeup at home or why don't you spend some quality time with your friends - love is universal!

This is a sneak peak of the look, read more if you want to know which products I used to create this!

Lancôme Time to Dramat'Eyes makeup set

Hello guys!

It's been a while since this item first arrived at my home and words cannot explain how painful it was not to test it out before taking proper pictures of it, but it finally happened and I finally found the time to do all this bloggers stuff and here are my first impressions on this gorgeous set!

As those of you who read me already know - I bought this during the Feelunique's holiday discounts so it cost me much cheaper than it usually would - and I mentioned this at my new in post which you can check out here.

The set comes in this gorgeous red box which has tiny sparkles and glitter all over it so it seems luxury and expensive (which it is, I guess...). On the back side of the box you can see the inside of the set - all the items are shown here and also the three looks which you can create with this set - the soft, medium and high intense/dramatic look.

Natural anti-acne cleansing mask - home edition!

Hello my dear readers and followers! :)

After having some skin problems throughout this winter and after being kind of sick of trying out different creams and gels and remedies, I decided to mix together some of the best natural ingredients for skincare (inspired by Michelle Phan's latest video on rice and honey scrub - check it out!) and found out that they are so super simple and easy to get that it would be a shame not to try this at home. I added some of my own ingredients just to make this better for you and I will explain to you why it is specifically these items that help cure and prevent skincare problems!

DISCLAIMER: USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK - if you have extra sensitive or skin prone to allergies, maybe you should consult with your doctor before using home made masks. Also, you should know your skin type - if you have extra dry skin - skip this as it may dry it out even more. Now let's get to the good part!

Wet n Wild Silk Finish & Mega Matte lipsticks swatches and review!

Hello guys :)

Today I will show you two beautiful lipsticks that recently came into my posession after Wet n Wild Croatia kindly decided to send them out to me for testing; meaning that this review is sponsored by PR products but it doesn't make it any less sincere or objective (as much as objectivity is possible).

prvaAs you can tell by these pictures the shades I got were from two different ranges of lipcolors: The Silk Finish line (shade Dark Pink Frost) and the Mega Matte line (shade Mauve Outta Here).
